I've decided to run a new segment on this site called "Things I Wish I Could Have Said"

The first entry can be seen below:

"...Well, yes. Absolutely! He's a good little ass kiss!"

So, I figured I ought to update today considering I haven’t updated in a while. I was going to do it last night, but I was spending the four hours before I have to go to bed assembling my new desk….

Yesterday, the dept. peons had a meeting at which I had to attend. The subject of dress was brought up. (Now mind you, I have found nothing wrong with any of the outfits I have seen people up here in)…There was the usual argument about what was considered a good length of skirt, etc. etc…. Basically, what it boils down to is: The Anti-Christ doesn’t want to see any skin shown because it reminds her that we are human beings instead of good little corporate drones as she would have us be.

I’m so tired… It seems like it took forever to build my desk. In fact, part of it came apart and I had to improvise… It’s finally done and the computer is set up on it, but the monitor is so big that it takes up most of the area between the hutch and the desktop and you end up sitting 3 inches from the monitor when you sit at the desk. I am going to have to cut a hole in the cardboard backing that they always supply these desks with, just so I can move the monitor back… If only I have a flat panel monitor…. Ah…to dream….

I find I like working with my hands. If it paid as much or more than my current job, I would definitely assemble furniture for a living. Definitely more fun and more variety and the only thing I would be taking instructions on would be from a manual.

We’re moving to a temporary space in the same building so they can do construction on this floor. I had emailed the Evil One a few weeks before this to say, “Please, for the love of God, don’t put me by the printer next time!” Guess where I am sitting in the new space…. To the left of the printer. And you wonder why I call her the Anti-Christ.

Ok, I think that’s enough of an update for now. Until next time…
